Getting There
Artist Home Erkkola is situated only 30 km from Helsinki and is one of the artist homes of the unique community of artists formed on the shores of Lake Tuusula in early 1900's.
By car:
roadsigns from road Järvenpääntie to museum road Tuusulan Rantatie. Erkkola is situated about 600 meters from the southern end of road Rantatie. Artist Home Erkkola and Aleksis Kivi's memorial cottage have joint parking. It's about 100 meters walking distance from parking place
HSL-public transport:

Visit Lake Tuusula -buses:
A hop-on-hop-off bus operates during the summer time. It takes you to the top sights in the Lake Tuusula area. The route has been carefully chosen and it will take you to all the museums and hotels in the area. There are 21 stops along the route which have been clearly marked with 'Visit Lake Tuusula Bus'. Your ticket (5 €/ person) is valid for the whole day and you can hop on and off as often as you like. The whole tour takes 1.5 hours. The bus has free Wi-Fi.
